There are things afoot at Battered Spleen Productions(TM). Marketing is an important step after the production process is done. Sometimes it is even a factor before and during production–an important concept. Part of that is helping people to find your products. Online an easy way to do that is with a website name that is easy to remember. It is still important even though you can Google sites and keep a bookmark. There are other issues beyond those options. One of them is owning a name or names. A trademark ultimately requires more than just claiming it. There has to be something to which it is attached. A good way to combine prior art and easy to remember names is buying a domain name and then putting something up there. To that end I have been buying domains and setting up sites. Let me tell you about a couple of them.
First up is my persona page http://www.robertgmale.com where I publicly keep track of different projects. You may or may not have heard of the kickin’ band http://www.gornofurverts.com yet. You certainly haven’t seen or heard anything for the sexy goth-chick band http://www.corpsalicious.com yet. There is a front page for http://www.killingtime-horror-erag.com if you didn’t know. You’ll want to keep an eye on http://www.thismentaleventide.com for my psychic horror pen and paper role-playing game. It has a related site http://www.umbralintentions.com where you’ll just have to wait and see what goes down. Also on the game front is http://www.ssh-rpg.com for Spooks, Spies & Hackers(TM). There are a few more but I’ll leave them for another time except for http://www.rmtp.ca my parent company’s page.
